Cooly Rocks On With a 50's and 60's Twist!

Cooly Rocks On is all about the 50’s and 60’s! It brings the colourful and vibrant beachside towns of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads together for the ultimate party of the year!

There will be more than 50 rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly bands that will perform right beside the beach in parks, on outdoor stages, in the streets and in pubs, clubs and venues throughout these two towns!

Love vintage cars? Over 1,200 pre -1970 custom and classic cars and hot rods will converge on the towns for one of the biggest displays staged in Australia.

You can definitely bring the family and enjoy loads of free entertainment as well as retro markets! It’s a great opportunity to watch the Cooly Rocks On Street Parade and join a Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly or Swing dance workshops!
